We believe all forms of fishing, from bass fishing to fly fishing, should be accessible, fun, and valuable to anyone and everyone.

Robert “Pops” Noerr

Robert Noerr has been fishing for well over 20 years.

He specializes in bass fishing, but is also extremely proficient at trout fishing, panfishing—and even catfishing.

Robert founded the idea of Man Versus Fish in 2008, though the site would not become what it is today until September, 2010.

Robert resides in Southern California, and travels the world always looking for his next fishing adventure.

Joshua “The Kid” Noerr

Joshua Noerr has been fishing for nearly 20 years.

Beginning at 12 years old, and inspired by shows like Bill Dance Outdoors, and In-Fisherman, he took to local lakes to learn how to fish.

In 2006, Joshua was introduced to fly fishing by a friend and guide, and has never looked back. He has immersed himself in the sport ever since then, and continues to seek out the next great fly fishing trip.

Joshua now resides just outside of Atlanta, Georgia—only a stone’s throw from Lake Lanier and the Chattahoochee River.
